Q&Q with Emma Cornish

The conversation you didn't hear on the main episode

Jeremy: What are the biggest life lessons you've learned from your 30+ years working with horses?

Emma: "Never give up, and always expect the unexpected."

Anna: You say that with such passion, like you've needed that resilience. Have there been times where you've had to dig deep?

Emma: "Yes, plenty of times. Many a situation, whether it's trying to catch a horse at the end of the day and the last horse you go to catch runs through 15 rows of electric fencing, and then you've got 17 horses running loose and carnage is happening in front of you and you've got a storm coming in... You're like, okay, right. Dig deep now. Or something very unexpected happens at a big event and you're like, oh, right, okay. Well, let's crack on and sort this out and pretend that everything's fine."
